About

Maureen Vollaro, LCSW-R
Maureen has been working in the social service field since 1990.  She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and she received her Masters in Social Welfare with a concentration in Health, from Stony Brook University in 1997.  She has worked with many populations including addictions, people with disabilities, geriatrics, families, couples, etc.   She serves as a clinical intern supervisor for master level social work students through Stony Brook University.

In 2001 she and her husband, Joseph Vollaro, PhD, started their own social service agency, RES Company.  RES has mostly focused on treating people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), however in the last few years it has grown into a company that treats people with disabilities, geriatrics, people that have experienced trauma (physical and/or emotional), etc. RES also has a sister company that provides home care for individuals who need assistance in their home.

Over the years Maureen has always maintained a small private practice.  At this time, she would like to expand her practice.  She has excellent clinical skills, warm, knowledgable and easy to talk to.
